Quick Start for Developers¶
1. Fork and Clone¶
# Fork on GitHub, then clone your fork
git clone https://github.com/YOUR_USERNAME/hyperseed
cd hyperseed
2. Set Up Development Environment¶
# Create virtual environment
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate # Windows: venv\Scripts\activate
# Install in development mode
pip install -e ".[dev]"
3. Make Changes¶
# Create a new branch
git checkout -b feature/my-new-feature
# Make your changes

# Format code
black hyperseed/
ruff check hyperseed/

Code Quality Standards¶
- Test coverage: Aim for >80% coverage
